A Psalm of my soul..

Psalm 73

1Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;
I had nearly lost my foothold.

3 For I envied the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 They have no struggles;
their bodies are healthy and strong.

5 They are free from the burdens common to man;
they are not plagued by human ills.

6 Therefore pride is their necklace;
they clothe themselves with violence.

7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity ;
the evil conceits of their minds know no limits.

8 They scoff, and speak with malice;
in their arrogance they threaten oppression.

9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven,
and their tongues take possession of the earth.

10 Therefore their people turn to them
and drink up waters in abundance.

11 They say, "How can God know?
Does the Most High have knowledge?"

12 This is what the wicked are like—
always carefree, they increase in wealth.

13 Surely in vain have I kept my heart pure;
in vain have I washed my hands in innocence.

14 All day long I have been plagued;
I have been punished every morning.

15 If I had said, "I will speak thus,"
I would have betrayed your children.

16 When I tried to understand all this,
it was oppressive to me

17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.

18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;
you cast them down to ruin.

19 How suddenly are they destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors!

20 As a dream when one awakes,
so when you arise, O Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.

21 When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,

22 I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.

23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.

24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.

25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.

27 Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

One of my favourite Psalm... Or should I say... Oh.. Never mind...

I thought I was _____ (Fill in the blank, but only God knows the answer)... Then only I realised all these years, if it's not because of God who is so merciful towards me, I will be dead as a log by the roadside. Looking at those things, I wish to give thanks to my Father because His hands is always upon me and always ensure that I am kept safe.

I know what I saw is not a fake vision nor is it an illusion but I know that it is the truth. I used to hate it because God chose to reveal it to me. Now, I truly understand the purpose of that cause. If it is not because of the truth, I can never truly appreciate what He has done for me on the cross. In agony and in pain, yet not a word He said. There is was, my sins was there to nail Him on the cross...

Lord, be with thy servant - there - tonight - tomorrow - and all her life.

I was fetching Willy back yesterday night and while in the car, she was pointing at the moon and said "WAH... The moon is so nice today!" *Sweat*

33: "Aunty, 15th dah lepas... Now dah 17th (lunar calendar)"
Willy: *giggled* *Started singing 月亮圆 (meaning, literal translation "round moon", referring to full moon)*
33: *Straight face* APA NI~ All lyrics gone case! Cis.. That is my favourite "mooncake festival "song!!!!
Willy: *giggled*

FOR WILLY'S SAKE..... The lyrics... =P

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds

By John Newton

How sweet the name of Jesus sounds
In a believer's ear!
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds,
And drives away his fear.

It makes the wounded spirit whole,
And calms the troubled breast;
'Tis manna to the hungry soul,
And to the weary rest.

Dear name! The rock on which I build,
My shield and hiding place;
My never-failing treasury fill'd
With boundless stores of grace;

By thee my pray'rs acceptance gain,
Altho' with sin defil'd
Satan accuses me in vain,
And I am own'd a child.

Jesus, my Shepherd, Husband, Friend,
My Prophet, Priest and King;
My Lord, my Life, my Way, my End,
Accept the praise I bring.

Weak is the effort of my heart,
And cold my warmest thought;
But when I see thee as thou art,
I'll praise thee as I ought.

Till then I would thy love proclaim
With ev'ry fleeting breathe;
And may the music of thy name
Refresh my soul in death

Life without a purpose?

I feel that, if I could live a thousand lives, I would like to live them all for Christ, and I should even then feel that they were all too little a return for His great love to me.
C. H. Supurgeon

I believe many are living a life out there, whereby they themselves can't seem to figure out what is the purpose of living. Many claimed that they are here to have fun, some claimed that they are here because "accidents happen", while some may claimed that they have a mission on earth (i.e. to study, to earn a living, to get married etc)
What then is your purpose in life? Merely fun? Mission? Or should I say parents?
What is in the future, I do not know. Nevertheless, there's something that I can be sure of in everybody's life. Death.
Yes, many might said "CHOI" when I said the word "death" in front of them, but think of it this way, since death is so certain in life, why then are you ignoring it and not face it? How can you live a life with joy when death is so certain in life? Can death really be overcome? Well, of cause you can =) Let us then starts off by looking at what is death, should we?
What is death?

In the beginning,
when God created the earth and man, everything was perfect. Nevertheless, there was one commandment that God gave to His first man and woman (Adam & Eve), which is "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." (Genesis 2:16-17).

Everything was perfect until one day when Eve was much persuaded by a serpent to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Subsequently, Adam also took it as Eve passed it to him. There it was, the fall of mankind. The first ever sin on earth, committed by our representative of human race. It is just like a cup of clear water being added with a drop of detergent. Though only one drop of detergent, the water became unclean. Therefore, before the fall, they are perfect however, after the fall they are sinful in nature. If left to the choice of pleasing God or pleasing self, they tend to follow the latter.

When Adam sinned against God, he was guilty before God. Due to the fact that he is the representative of human, thus, we are sinful in nature though we are not born yet. You might argue that we are not the descendant of Adam thus you are not guilty before God. Now, look into the bible and read carefully. In the beginning it is passed down the there's 7 days a week and on the seventh day, it is Sabbath. Now, tell me, are you not also in the same "time measurement"? You can try and change it to 8 days a week or modify it but your effort will be in vain as historically, people have tried that but failed. Due to the fact that we are all from the same ancestor, thus, the time measurement is the same throughout the century.

As we are the descendant of Adam, thus, we inherited his sinful nature when we are born to this earth. When we are left alone, we are likely to sin. We all grew up sinning against God in terms of speech, thoughts, and actions or even not doing what He wants us to do. As we are always breaking God's law, thus, we stand guilty and sinful before God.

Adam and Eve will need to face up with the truth that they will die physically due to their committed sin. Furthermore, they also died spiritually as the moment they sin against God, they were departed from God. They are driven away from God because they offended God (Gen 3:24). From the preceding, it is thus concluded that we too are then dead physically as well as spiritually as we are the descendant of Adam. Despite that, we are doubly guilty (besides inheriting Adam's sin) before God as we ourselves commit sin every single second on earth.

(Taken from: http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/reviews/2006-11-16-review-happy-feet_x.htm)
A way out of death? Out of the bondage of sin?

Wanting to get out from the bondage of sin and death? Do you think you can? You can try but I can assure you that your effort is in vain.

"All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." (Isaiah 64:6)

You can never clean yourself because whatever good that you have, it can never patch up whatever you have done wrong in God's eyes. As claimed in Isaiah, all your so call righteous works are just like a filthy rags before Him, because we can never be righteous before Him.

"Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil." (Jeremiah 13:23)

Didn't that verse above just describe our status? How can we, sinners, do good? We can never ever do good nor be perfect before God. What can we do then since we can never be perfect and always fall short of His glory? That just mean that we are so condemned to hell isn't it?

God is a God of love and merciful (Psalm 86:5). Before you were to come and change yourself and realized that you can't, God already plan for you since the beginning.

Since the beginning, God the father, son and Holy Spirit, already made the agreement among each other to save a certain people. God planed the Son to come in perfect human being and yet never seems to be God. That person Jesus Christ is actually son of God and son of men. He’s divine as well as human. He has two natures in one person; he became the perfect mediator between God and man. He represents God before human and perfect human before God.

How He deal with the problem, our sin against God and our sinful nature? Jesus live a perfect life, he was arrested and put to death on the cross. Those days, crucifixion is the cruelest way to kill thieves. All those people were influenced to kill him. He rose again on the 3 day and ascended to heaven. However, he will come back to judge the world.

When Jesus dies, He became the perfect sacrifice for those chosen people. This shows that his sacrifice is accepted by God when He rose back from death. We rightly speaking were to undergo the punishment but Jesus undergoes that for us. It is not a normal death but a substitute for us. Therefore, Jesus paid the price of our sin on the cross so that we will not need to undergo that punishment.

When Jesus dies on the cross, He dies as a “sinner” because of us. When God looks at Christian, He sees no more on our sin as the sin are dealt with on the cross. The righteousness of God is given to us while our sin given to Him. Therefore we are not guilty before God.

In short, the blood of Christ cleanses us as He dies for us. Therefore, our sinful nature is taken away by Christ and His death. We will need to turn from our sin, repenting before God and trust in Him. A Christian will know that he is forgiven. Only those who repented and trust in Him will benefit from His death, else you are not a Christian.

What is repentance?
You realize that you are guilty against God, you are unable to come to God and unable to come before God. When you hear the gospel, you made up your mind and not to lose your life to your sinful nature and turn to God and trust in Him and depend on Him and Him alone to save you. You know He is the son of God and come in the form of a perfect human nature and crucify on the cross. Because of that, you wash clean and able to come to God and be saved.

How may I know that I am a true Christian and accepted by God?
You have a different life but not a perfect life. Nevertheless, there’s a transformation in out life because the Holy Spirit lives within you. It gives you the desires to seek Him, understanding and obeying His commands. If you walk carefully before God, the number of time you sin is minimal. Every time you sin, you are burden and wanted to come before God and seeking for forgiveness.

A pampered dog...

It's a gloomy day..... Nevertheless, I am loving it! ^.^ Windy and drizzling, ahh... Just love the weather... While I was looking at my assignment......... Something interesting happened.... Lucky was in the house since I woke up as she made tonnes of noise outside my iron gate wanting me to let her in the house...

*Typing and looking at my work*
Lucky: Gaaaaaaauuuuuuu.... Auuu..... Auooooooo...... *BARK, BARK, BARK*
33: *Turned and looked at her* Yo, what's up???
Lucky: Gaaaaaauauuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...... Aooouuuuuuu.... *Pitiful looks and continue on barking*
33: (-..-)" *I opened the door for her to go out to the car porch thinking that she wants to do her business.... (Normally if she's in the house, she will make noise if she wants to do her business)* Go out...
Lucky: *Run to the kitchen side, indicating she wants to stay in the house and not outside*
33: *Speechless* Locked the door and continue doing work...
Lucky: Gaoooouuuuuu... *bark whilst using her pawn to stretch the floor mat.*
33: (-..-)" *First thing that came into my mind? My mum slipper was on the floor mat and she can't sleep on it, that's why she is making noise...* *Took off my mum slipper and pat Lucky's head* Go oink oink... *Sit down*
Lucky: *pitiful look* Gaoooooouuuuuu.....
33: *white flag* AH HA!!! *went outside and took Lucky's jacket and wore it on her*
Lucky: *happy look* *walk happily to my house floor mat and.... Doze off*
33: ...................

DOGS! She was cold and wanted me to get her jacket... Her communication skills are so darn GOOD! PAMPERED!!!! *hit Lucky*! Well, as long as she's sleeping and so does my another dog... *peace*

No Reserves. No Retreats. No Regrets.

I know it is a bit long, but if you have the time, read it... I find it encouraging especially his faith towards God... Enjoy..

The Story of William Borden
In 1904 William Borden graduated from a Chicago high school. As heir to the Borden Dairy estate, he was already a millionaire. For his high school graduation present, his parents gave 16-year-old Borden a trip around the world. As the young man traveled through Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, he felt a growing burden for the world's hurting people. Finally, Bill Borden wrote home about his "desire to be a missionary."1

One friend expressed surprise that he was "throwing himself away as a missionary."
In response, Bill wrote two words in the back of his Bible: "No reserves."

Even though young Borden was wealthy, he arrived on the campus of Yale University in 1905 trying to look like just one more freshman. Very quickly, however, Borden's classmates noticed something unusual about him and it wasn't his money. One of them wrote: "He came to college far ahead, spiritually, of any of us. He had already given his heart in full surrender to Christ and had really done it. We who were his classmates learned to lean on him and find in him a strength that was solid as a rock, just because of this settled purpose and consecration."2
During his college years, Bill Borden made one entry in his personal journal that defined what his classmates were seeing in him. That entry said simply: "Say 'no' to self and 'yes' to Jesus every time."3

Borden's first disappointment at Yale came when the university president spoke on the students' need of "having a fixed purpose." After hearing that speech, Borden wrote: "He neglected to say what our purpose should be, and where we should get the ability to persevere and the strength to resist temptations."4 Surveying the Yale faculty and much of the student body, Borden lamented what he saw as the end result of this empty philosophy: moral weakness and sin-ruined lives.

During his first semester at Yale, Borden started something that would transform campus life. One of his friends described how it happened: "It was well on in the first term when Bill and I began to pray together in the morning before breakfast. I cannot say positively whose suggestion it was, but I feel sure it must have originated with Bill. We had been meeting only a short time when a third student joined us and soon after a fourth. The time was spent in prayer after a brief reading of Scripture. Bill's handling of Scripture was helpful. . . . He would read to us from the Bible, show us something that God had promised and then proceed to claim the promise with assurance."5

Borden's small morning prayer group gave birth to a movement that spread across the campus. By the end of his first year, 150 freshman were meeting for weekly Bible study and prayer. By the time Bill Borden was a senior, one thousand of Yale's 1,300 students were meeting in such groups.
Borden made it his habit to seek out the most "incorrigible" students and try to bring them to salvation. "In his sophomore year we organized Bible study groups and divided up the class of 300 or more, each man interested taking a certain number, so that all might, if possible, be reached. The names were gone over one by one, and the question asked, 'Who will take this person?' When it came to someone thought to be a hard proposition, there would be an ominous pause. Nobody wanted the responsibility. Then Bill's voice would be heard, 'Put him down to me.'"6

Borden's outreach ministry was not confined to the Yale campus. He cared about widows and orphans and cripples. He rescued drunks from the streets of New Haven. To rehabilitate them, he founded the Yale Hope Mission. One of his friends wrote that he "might often be found in the lower parts of the city at night, on the street, in a cheap lodging house or some restaurant to which he had taken a poor hungry fellow to feed him, seeking to lead men to Christ."7

Borden's missionary call narrowed to the Muslim Kansu people in China. Once that goal was in sight, Borden never wavered. He also inspired his classmates to consider missionary service. One of them said: "He certainly was one of the strongest characters I have ever known, and he put backbone into the rest of us at college. There was real iron in him, and I always felt he was of the stuff martyrs were made of, and heroic missionaries of more modern times."8

Although he was a millionaire, Bill seemed to "realize always that he must be about his Father's business, and not wasting time in the pursuit of amusement."9 Although Borden refused to join a fraternity, "he did more with his classmates in his senior year than ever before." He presided over the huge student missionary conference held at Yale and served as president of the honor society Phi Beta Kappa.

Upon graduation from Yale, Borden turned down some high paying job offers. In his Bible, he wrote two more words: "No retreats."

William Borden went on to graduate work at Princeton Seminary in New Jersey. When he finished his studies at Princeton, he sailed for China. Because he was hoping to work with Muslims, he stopped first in Egypt to study Arabic. While there, he contracted spinal meningitis. Within a month, 25-year-old William Borden was dead.

When news William Whiting Borden's death was cabled back to the U.S., the story was carried by nearly every American newspaper. "A wave of sorrow went round the world . . . Borden not only gave (away) his wealth, but himself, in a way so joyous and natural that it (seemed) a privilege rather than a sacrifice" wrote Mary Taylor in her introduction to his biography.10
Was Borden's untimely death a waste? Not in God's plan. Prior to his death, Borden had written two more words in his Bible. Underneath the words "No reserves" and "No retreats," he had written: "No regrets."

Life...

Ahh... Way passed bed time AGAIN... Deprive for sleep.... Yes, it is almost midnight... Old lady like me can't burn the midnight oil anymore...

Few more days and I will be a free bird... Persevere!!! Enjoying my last bit of student life and wulala, working life, here I come!

Having a lot of things in head... Was actually taken aback as God reminded me again regarding the power of sin through someone I loved. How it can be so clingy and powerful towards a non-believer. I wanted so must to hit that person head for what he has done but I just can't find myself in the right position to do so. It hurts even more when that person is so close to you, but what can I do?? Teach me O Lord! Teach me! The only thing I do is uttered is a short prayer to God. I really am helpless in this situation and to submit all things in His hand.

Ahh... Stress level going up one level... GAMBATEH NEH!

To all classmates, (not that they will be reading)

Serve Him with all your heart, soul & mind

Most people are preoccupied with wanting to live long.
Few are concerned about wanting to live well for God.

Which one are you then?

"It is appointed for man to die once, but after this the judgment" (Hebrew 9:27)

=Quote from Bible study note=

Friday, July 11, 2008

Be still and know that I am God.

The north wind blows, but the sourthern breeze will arise
In everything God's will is done
The north wind is bitterly cold, but it will bit last long
Soon the warm sourthern breeze will arise.

Be patient and wait, be patient and wait
The Lord will make everything beautiful in His time
When the time has come, when the time has come,
Abundant grace will overflow to you.

You who are burdened with sorrow, don't sign any longer
The Lord will undertake for you
If the Heavenly Father does not permit it
Who can do anything to you?

(Picture from: http://www.pintunet.com/lihat_opini.php?pg=2008/01/04012008/69502)

I have been non-stop popping in Wood's Peppermint lozenges into my mouth.

How I wish the lozenge works as how it was advertised... But unfortunately.... I still can't stop the irritation of my throat.... Don't believe all the things you see from advertisement!!! Cis...

FOR A MOMENT..... When my head is not functioning well... I feel like using.....(Picture from: http://www.chinatraderonline.com/Infant-Care/Feeding-Bottle-Brush-191812931.htm)
To take away the irritation.... NO, I didn't do that... Suddenly..... This came into my mind...
UNFORTUNATELY.... I don't have this at home.... SIGH.....
*Remind me of how dear and ML coupled together and sang the "cap ibu and anak" song/imitated the advertisement/ promoting the cough syrup.... HAHA.... =P

OK, I think I should eat all the medicine that the doctor prescript to me.... Bah......

Medicines and me == No Good friend

I am as sick as a dog when I am typing this post. OK, maybe not as serious as the description as I am still able to sit up and write this post. Well, I am currently cooking for myself and while waiting for the water to boil, here I am to drop a piece of my mind in this small column of mine.

I just came back from the doctor not long ago. I actually planned to go for a medical checkup but ended up seeing a doctor for my sickness only. Well, I can't perform any medical checkup over that place anyway as they didn't provide a full checkup. I have only a minor sickness and I think the doctor wanted to kill me for going to them as I only got to know that there is no medical checkup available in the government clinic after my registration.

How unwilling I am to go back that place. I have a bad experience with that clinic before this, that is why I claimed that they will "kill" me. I have to go back to that place because Ampang Hospital directed me to go to the clinic for medical checkup. Furthermore, it is cheaper compared to other private clinic. I can't understand why that hospital asked me to go there when there's no such facilities provided! However, I was quite surprise that the doctor was nice to me though I was the last patient before they were to close the clinic for lunch and patiently treated my sickness!

Well, my sugar level is average but my blood pressure is a bit low *as expected* but the doctor said it is still consider alright. After a short conversation with the doctor, through my description, he said that I might have light sensitivity since my eyes are feeling discomfort in bright light. As for my flu, sore throat (now really can't speak much as no voice), fever and cough, medication will be given and I will be well again in no time. ^.^V

When I went to collect my medicines, the person in charge gave me 6 types of medicines to consume and when I got the medicines, I was.... SPEECHLESS.... Those who know me, should know that I hate medication. NOW, I GOT 6 types of medicines to consume. (-..=)" Now I really start to wonder is it the rice problem (Sunday cooking) (>.<)" OK, got to go... Need my sleeppppppppppppppppp... Sigh.......................

Big Fat Pig's delicious rice ^.^V

When I was so cast downed, suddenly a "brother" just messaged me in MSN. He reminded me many things that God has done in my life. Well, not directly but he reminded me what happened in church yesterday. I can't stop thinking about God's words that was spoken to me so clearly yesterday. Though what I have done today is definitely a big wrong, but I really hope that He who is merciful and gracious will forgive me and grant me the strength to carry on His wills.

Well, would like to apologies to the big big "brother" of mine since he sacrifices himself to bring back my cooking yesterday. Hey, look at the bright side OK? I helped you to save some lunch money and you didn't date the toilet or face with discomfort after eating my cooking! Be thankful ya =P Well, have to admit that only Kah Liang faced with stomach discomfort after the dinner, I think it is because I "influence" him too much during dinner time. Hopefully he's well now, or is he pulling my leg? Hahaha...

Hehehe... I think my "brother" really like my cooking after he took it back home... See what he wrote on his MSN nick the next morning!

p/s Meaning... (Today special: Big Fat Pig's Beautiful aroma delicious rice)

Ahh... Such a comfort... Though the cooking was a disaster, but it served as a encouragement for me to continue on to improve my cooking ^.^ Thank you brother! Hehehe... OK, need to do some work now, enjoy your Monday!

In evil long I took delight

Fell in love with this hymn. MP3 anyone? >.<

By John Newton

In evil long I took delight,
Unawed by shame or fear,
Till a new object struck my sight,
And stopp'd my wild career:

I saw One hanging on a Tree
In agonies and blood,
Who fix'd His languid eyes on me.
As near His Cross I stood.

Sure never till my latest breath,
Can I forget that look:
It seem'd to charge me with His death,
Though not a word He spoke:

My conscience felt and own'd the guilt,
And plunged me in despair:
I saw my sins His Blood had spilt,
And help'd to nail Him there.

Alas! I knew not what I did!
But now my tears are vain:
Where shall my trembling soul be hid?
For I the Lord have slain!

--A second look He gave, which said,
"I freely all forgive;
This blood is for thy ransom paid;
I die that thou may'st live."

Thus, while His death my sin displays
In all its blackest hue,
Such is the mystery of grace,
It seals my pardon too.

Fruitful trip

Feeling refreshed.. Am thankful for the time over in Port Dickson (PD) =) Though it is just a short trip and I got some bruises on my leg but nevertheless the trip is really worthwhile.

Yes, I went to the beach.. Yes, I got up early every single day except the last day of the trip as too tired, just to go to the beach and enjoy the sea breeze. Yes, the beach is definitely not crystal clear but nevertheless, it is something better than nothing. I am contented with it ^.^

During this short trip, what I learn, what I saw, what I felt, what I experienced are priceless.. Somehow, when it was time to leave, my heart just sank. Guess what, the day I am coming back is the day whereby my last semester result is published (-..=)" My result is average but I was expecting higher grade for one of the subjects. Well, I am still anticipating for my full result to be publish. I expected my ethic subject to flung.... >.<

Want to draw back the attention to the trip to PD. Somehow, Jim Elliot words kept on running in my mind. (Click on the link to find out more about him). When he went to preach to the violent Huaorani Indian tribe, he said to his wife, OK, a confession to make. I can't clearly remember whether did he told her or he wrote in his diary, either way the main point is I remembered his words...

"If they were to attack us (because Huaorani are violent), we will not attack them back because if they die, they will be condemn forever but if we were to die, we will be in heaven."

They really were killed by the native..... 5 of them died because of a lie.... When I was watching the show, I can't help but to put myself in their wifes' shoe. Don't ask me why, but somehow, I felt their lost, it is as though I am really in their position. What encouraged me is their wife never gave up hope but continue on their husbands' works. In the end, God allowed them to bring forth the gospel to the native and a transformation took place.

God is great isn't He? Though Jim is unable to see the fruit of his starting work, but I believe that in his heart, he knows God will bless His people. All glory to the living God.

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."
= Jim Elliot =

无助。。。

Helpless...
Hopeless...
Idiotic...

Can I really keep myself fueled and aflame??? Sigh....

Ignore this..

Failure after failure....
Disappointment after disappointment....
In the edge of giving up....
Somehow, something, some words just appeared and...

I can never be perfect nor can I be righteous before You by myself...
I ask not for anything but time and strength for me to change and be consistent.
I ask not for anything but to take away all those pain that is burdening me much.
I ask not for anything but Your wisdom to abide in me in order for me to fear You.
I ask not for anything but Your saving grace to be upon me, a sinner..

Fire that burns

A little girl, playing with fire...
What she burnt while playing with the fire?
A letter and a key chain that came back to her from a far away land...

Mourning over the fact?
No, because she knows if she didn't play with fire, things will not turn out sour...
Accepting is better than blaming fault to others or God.

Moral of the story?
Never play with fire when you are told that it is dangerous.

*Additional...
Somehow, the fire became a friend towards it.... 6 are used but not even half is black... Maybe it is not meant to be... Let it be then...

The free food restaurant.

I was checking my mail and this mail really caught my attention. First thing that came into my head, WAH FREE FOOD!!!!! I decided to read on.... The place is located in China.
Let the journey begins....
CABLE CAR!!! Reminded me of Genting Highland. To be honest, I kind of miss that place! Hahaha... OK, after this come the interesting part...
Yes, you are not looking at the wrong picture, you actually need to go through this small like wooden path in order to get to the restaurant... *looking down from where you are standing must be freaky~*
The journey seems long...... Interesting part? Your distance with land is getting bigger and bigger... Make sure you hold on to the "railing" (quoted from the mail). Keep an eye on the person in front of you... You don't want to bump into them and loose your balance... >.<
Oh ya, never forget to look out for the people that is coming from the OPPOSITE WAY.... >.<" Now.... Only few more steps to go.... *YA RIGHT!* This is worse then just now.... It gets steeper here... There are some holes available for you to put your legs inside and cross over...
This is how it will look like... Look at the "view" below..... Nice eh?
LASTLY.................. -..-" A LONG WALK.......... DARN LONG WALK...................
AT last................ You can see a restaurant up on the hill...

Wah... Adventurous isn't it? But I bet the view on top there will be marvelous... TOGETHER WITH FREE FOODS! After all those climbing and walking, I bet you can eat a lot! Hahaha... But I have to say, if given a chance, I will be reluctant to climb up there! What will happened if I were to give up half way? How on earth am I going to get down from there? Hahaha, but I think I will still go for it though many questions in my head. Why? Hello, flight ticket is not that cheap ok.... I travel all the way there and just stop there?? Hahah...

Title: Winter Leaf
Taken by Martin Ptacek
From: http://www.flickr.com/photos/martin-ptacek/2406912770/

A simple picture yet it meant a lot to me... It reminded me why I chose "Winter Leaf" as the main title for my blog. Many memories "flew" back to me... Looking back... It has been with me for almost 3 years! Well, 2 years plus to be exact. Ahh... I am indeed getting old..

OK, back to work..

Fish Therapy

Part 1
*Just woke up from sleep.... *

Mum: "Want to come along for foot SPA? Fish Therapy"
33: Mana?

Mum: Tesco, Ampang that side. Got Mothers' Day special so got promotion... Going there with Granny. If you want, get ready now and we will leave in 45 minutes time.

33: OK.

=End of part 1=

...Information Column...
What is Fish Therapy?
Allowing some kind of fish to "eat" your flesh... Emm... Is this explanation leads your thoughts to piranhas? OK, just nibbling... Not eating.. Mind you, this fish that I am referring to is toothless! ^.^

Fish name: Garra rufa and Cyprinion macrostomus (There are two species of fish)
Alternatives name: nibble fish, kangal fish, doctorfishen, doctor fish or reddish log sucker (for non-medical context)
Origin: Turkey (a hot spring near Kangal)

Why on earth allowed toothless fishes to "eat" your flesh?
They are first discovered by Turkish to obtained healing power! They are called ‘Doctor Fish' as these fishes help in easing the symptoms of those suffering from skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. They actually nibble away your scaly and dead skin, leaving your skin smooth and glowing.

In addition, they only eat dead skin so the fishes will leave your healthy skin alone. Children who have young skin, seldom attract a large school of fish while adults with more dead skin are more attractive to the Garra Rufas.

Each session lasting a minimum of 30 minutes but not more than an hour in order to see effective result.

(taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_fish)

=End of information column=

Part 2
Anxiously walked out from the car with granny and went to the place. It's a very small place. It is located at the main entrance of Tesco, Ampang. You can see a 250*100 cm "fish pool". It looks something like the picture below but it is rectangle in shape. *Ignoring the cute little puppy as well*
(Picture taken from: http://www.mateerlabs.com/summer.htm)

Sorry readers, I don't have a camera phone anymore, so I can't take real time picture for you all to see the real situation. Sigh... Wait until I get my hands on a new camera phone first ya ^.^ Till then, be patience with the pictures.

Ok back to my story. Looking at the pool, it's actually a bit dirty as full of fish pooh! >.<" We took off our shoes and immerse our leg into a pale of water before submerging our legs into the water. I was the first to "go in"... *Glurp* I slowly dipped my toes inside the water and followed slowly by my legs, worrying that I will scare away all the fishes by going into the water. Within second the "feast" began. (Picture taken from : http://www.daylife.com/photo/0gyx6xocz3dkm)
The water almost came up to our knees and TONNES of fishes swam to my legs and instantly I can feel them "bitting" me. The fishes are 2-3cm long. Though small in size but I couldn't stop thinking of the scene of piranhas biting my toes.

How do I feel?

This is how I feel for the first few minutes. No, it is not painful at all but it is DARN ITCHY and it tickles!!! I feel like stopping the foot SPA! But after awhile, I was actually enjoying the therapy! Hahaha... It's actually very fun and interesting to see the fishes coming to your side and started "kissing" your legs as though you are someone important =P

I think the fishes are enjoying it because the moment I put my legs inside the pool of water, almost all the fishes came running to my legs! Even the people there were amaze with the scene (-..-)" I really got a lot of dead skin on my legs... Hahaha...

Ahh... 30 minutes is up! Sigh... SO FAST! When I was starting to enjoy the SPA suddenly it came to an end... Sigh...

Well, I myself find it quite relaxing and most importantly, my legs feel smooth! Statement were supported by granny but not my mum because there aren't many fishes that ran after her legs due to her sitting position. Oh ya, forgot to tell you about the payment.

Priced: RM12 - 20 minutes
RM15 - 30 minutes

But 3 of us only paid RM12 person for 30 minutes because mum negotiated with the seller. Hehehe... It is really a pleasant treatment (in my opinion), if you haven try it, haha, you should. Just for the sake of relaxing ^.^V

A piece of advice..... There are many places in KL that provide such SPA but do look out for the price before stepping into the SPA. Pavilion fish Spa therapy is priced at RM38 for 30 minutes while foot, hand and shoulder massages are priced between RM22 and RM149. Yes, It's TRIPLE the price I paid for the same service!

Anyway, we went to Ampang for Yong Tau Fu after the SPA. Slurp.... Ahh... I missed that place! Madness expensive though! RM 0.70 PER ITEM!!!!!!!!! -.-" My mum used to brought us there when she's working nearby. Last time we only ate RM0.20 per item. Inflation, inflation and inflation...

Ahh... I really enjoyed myself today ^.^ A Monday filled with activities

Ezekiel

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.

(Ezekiel 36:25-30)

The snake..

*Put my hand on my heart*
"I hear something... I heard 'bip bop bip bop bip bop'."
"Phew!!!!"

I am still alive!!! Ok, a bit nervous... Ok, my heart is beating fast. OK, I am a bit freak out... -..-"
Why??? Let me tell you a story.......

After finish with the cooking, I was preparing foods for my dogs. I placed Lucky outside of the house while Xiao Bai at the back of my house. Both with a glutton look, anxiously waiting for me to placed their dinner down on the floor. Hehe... Ok, I like to look at their glutton face before serving them dinner. I find it hilarious... I always hold their foods for one minutes or less just to look at their funny face. Bad owner huh... Yeah, I like to torture my dogs!! *Evil laugh*

While having dinner with my mum, suddenly Xiao Bai was barking like a mad dog.
"Xiao Bai, yo yo apasal?? Shut up.... I need some peace and quiet for my dinner!"
*Dog kept on barking like a mad dog, IGNORING my words to him, SWEAT*

I got up from my seat, drag my lazy, heavy body to the back gate.... I.... Saw something outside the gate. It looks like a wire... Hahaha... I so wanted to hit my dog's head because he is wagging his tail while looking outside of the gate and bark. But I stopped and on the back light.

*33 fainted....* OK, I didn't faint.... I lied... I was SHOCK... BECAUSE.... There's a SNAKE AT THE BACK OF MY HOUSE!!!!! *Panic button pressed*

"MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....... SNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That's all I scream... My mum got a shock as well... My dog? Kept on barking as though ready for a fight. NO, I didn't open the door for him to go out and fight. *Sayang Xiao Bai* I still treasure my dog. The snake is around 60cm, black in color. VERY SCARY!!!!! Quickly I asked my mum to take out the sulfur and before my mum can come back with that, the snake went away. I then asked my mum to bring Lucky into the house as the snake is going her direction. I went out with my dog and he was so anxious to find the snake. He walked here and there and...... HE PEE and went back into my house (-..-)"

My mum was so busy making phone calls because my aunt was staying nearby. My uncle.... Got so excited for some reason.... He called again to my house and asked for the location of the snake and so wanted to catch it... -..-" Mind you, He caught a 5 feet snake before in his house. The snake came into his house from the back door. Don't ask me how but it scare my aunt like mad when she saw the snake inside her house! *Goose bump*

I went out alone and put sulfur all around my house because my mum was so darn scare of snake. -..-" I so wanted to scream already because I too were afraid of SNAKE! No choice but to go out and put sulfur around the house else the snake will come in the house. Praying like mad but thank God nothing happened. All brothers' fault! Came back so late! Don't like them la.... But, hehe.... Thank God for my dogs! ^.^V *sayang and hug doggie* Ahh, love them so much!

Interesting facts

I was checking my mail and suddenly my friend send me this through MSN. I was looking at it once it finished transferring. With a puzzle look on my face, I messaged my friend and asked what on earth is he sending me and why send me such thing....

He.... Pointed out something very interesting from the picture.... "Look at the gender" That's all he said.... When I looked at it... -..-" Stupid..... "Male, Female, DOUBT". It's actually in the option box!!!! Look carefully... IT'S A GOV website!!! It's actually a government website! Look at the picture below, click on it and enlarge it if you can't see it clearly. It's blur if you don't click on it...
