God's words to me..

Spiritually renewed *Smile Smile* I have never felt that joy so strong in me for the past few weeks until the camp... I actually didn't expect much from this camp as I know God will not speaks much to me at this very moment... Yet He proved me wrong again.. His words just came in just in time.. A very very hard lesson to pick up but I know if I mastered what He want me to do, I will have abundent joy in my heart. Slowly I am growing due to some personal life... Going the process of moulding is never easy but I believe that the end result will be a satisfying result.
I never knew I can do things this way... I never knew I am that strong... I never knew... Because that is never me but God in me... Reading the bible sometimes is a hard task for me.. Why? because "someone" is "scolding" me... However I still chose to read it because later I raelise that the wonder of His love, His power, His forgiveness, His everything is a blessing in my life.
There is a period of time, I never like to live in this world with my family because I always think that they are not loving me... I always asked God why He put me in this family while others are enjoying their parent's love... God proved me wrong... VERY WRONG.. Actually He purposely put me in this family so that His name will be glorify in this family of mine! I can slowly see how God moves in my family, how God have change me, how God have bless me.. My life is never the same, my thinking is never the same, my actions is never the same as how I was before I met Christ...
God said one thing to me during the camp...
"Yes, you are facing trials now but am I in your troubles? All your problems is not a problem for you anymore if you would have let go of it and leave it to Me"
"Whatever you don't have now, I will bless you in the future."
This is the answer that God said to me for my problems... Though I didn't ask for an answer but He reassure me regarding His promises to me. Those sweet words will remain in me.. Really hope I can hold on to His words and go through all this trials...
Stuck with tones of assignments and stress up with it. *waving white flag*

Story time =)

A story I read from the website that my friend sends me. A lesson that I am currently learning as well, hope this story will bring you something in your life..

Hallusinating?? Reality...

Drizzling... Looking out from the window, somehow I felt... Felt... Undescribeable.... Disappointment is the word to sum my feeling... Yesterday memory flash back in my "processor". Talking to a sister till late at night or should I say early morning? Haha.. Sister, no, I am not being influence by your words nor thinking but I think you yourself also sense that I am somehow partially in the same boat with you.
I didn't realise small things such as this tend to lead to a big big trouble... People words towards me... People thinking regarding the word of God... I am concern.... Many people told me that I am too devoted, I am like hallusinating, I am like a person that don't have the direction of life anymore, some even tell me that "God wants .... on me, God said it is not right to do this" etc.. However, all those words doesn't go in my head immediately. I filtered it a lot.. I have only one thinking and one stand, if what you said is what God said show me in the bible. Don't confuse your own desires, your own demand towards me and tell me that "That is what God wants from you". Don't even think I will entertaine your words, yes, I will listen and think about it but don't expect me to take all of it. I WILL NOT.
I learn a lot throughout my walk with God and I always believe that if He wants me to do something, He will tell me... I can see more clearly what is "white" and what is "black"... Though I am not very very strong in His words but I believe that God is powerful and mighty. When He wants to do something, nothing can stop Him. Not even you. If I am going the wrong path, His spirit will lead me back to Him. If I am rebellious, He will punish me. My life is in His hand, He will take care of each and everything in my life. Though my ways may lead me into the wrong path, God will bring me back to Him and He will never leave me...

I Can Stand Secure

Father, give me strengh
To walk the narrow way
Shepherd, hold my hand
So I'll never be astray
Jesus, draw me near,
So that I will never fear
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure

Here I am O Lord
Come and fill my cup
Healer of my soul
When I'm weak You lifted me up
Jesus, draw me near
Come and wipe away my tears
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure

Jesus hear my cry
I've only one desire
To be faithful to my calling
All the days of my life
Jeus, draw me near
In my heart I'll hold You dear
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure

Anyone, Someone, No one, Everyone and Sorry

Caller : Hello, can I speak to Annie Wan?
Operator : Yes, you can speak to me.
Caller: No, I want to speak to Annie Wan!
Operator: You are talking to someone! Who is this?
Caller: I'm Sam Wan. And I need to talk to Annie Wan! It's urgent.
Operator: I know you are someone and you want to talk to anyone! But what's this urgent matter about?
Caller: Well... just tell my sister Annie Wan that our brother Noel Wan was involved in an accident. Noel Wan got injured and now Noel Wan is being sent to the hospital. Right now, Avery Wan is on his way to the hospital.
Operator: Look if no one was injured and no one was sent to the hospital, then the accident isn't an urgent matter! You may find this hilarious but I don't have time for this!
Caller: You are so rude! Who are you?
Operator: I'm Saw Lee.
Caller: Yes! You should be sorry. Now give me your name!!

The meaning of Faith

The Meaning of Faith...

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true. For by it our fathers had God's approval.

By faith it is clear to us that the order of events was fixed by the word of God, so

that what is seen has not been made from things which only seem to be.

(Hebrew 11:1-3)

Have faith, my daughter...

Cloudy... All I can see now is cloud..
"White cloud! White cloud! White cloud!"
I shouted on top of my voice but... All I can see is the sky is getting dark, the cloud is getting greyish... Sunlight is getting dimmer and dimmer.. Soon it started to rain.. It started of by drizzling, I felt comfort as the rain hit on my face but slowly.. It hit on with pressure, with a much heavier raindrop... Hitting on my body, I started to feel the slight pain, chill run across me... All I have in mind is... "God, cover me!"
Prayer is a powerful weapon, that is what I believe and hold on to. Last time, I got the diploma scholarship by God grace and now only I realise how come He didn't want me to take a degree scholarship! Previously, I was asking the MAPCU person in charge whether is there a degree scholarship for full time, he said no. If there is, I would have apply for E-commerce! However, I just applied for diploma. When the moment I got to know that I got the scholarship, I was super happy and thank God for His blessing!
Then... Student service staff asked me why didn't I apply for a degree scholarship, if not I will be granted a full scholarship until degree. I told them due to no full time therefore I didn't apply for it. They told me there is scholarship for full time! I.... I.... Need to register again after diploma... Slowly... I realise why didn't God wants me to get the degree scholarship... Because... I plan to change my course! I don't plan to take E-commerce anymore but BIT (business with IT). Imagine what will happen if I will need to take E-commerce though I don't have the interest to study that anymore.. SCARY....
I just got a bad news today...
"Sorry, we didn't provide any scholarship for APIIT course (SU Degree) but we do provide for UCTI course"
My heart sank.... I know by heart that I got a scholarship by God grace last time but it will end after I finish my diploma, which is this year! I continue to "bug" the person by asking whether I can just write a letter to them and asked for an exceptional and praise the Lord they said I can give it a shot. Though the opportunity is slim but I uphold it into God's hand... I seriously am stuck on what to do next... Have tones of unfinish assignments on hand and having test here and there... Wao.. Stress up...

I can't stop thinking what should I write in that letter. Ended up I have a blank paper in front of me. How am I suppose to impress them and convience them that I am worth that amount of money? I seriously don't dare to imagine what will happen next if I don't get an approve letter from them. All I can do is just pray...
Life is full of ups and downs just like our heartbeat... Without ups and downs life will not be life anymore.. However, no matter what happened in my life, no matter how many downs I need to go through I know it well that God is with me.. Now it is the time... My faith is being tested.. Will I stand strong and hold on to Him no matter what happened? HAVE FAITH!

Your name I cannot find...

THE POEM

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came,
I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"
A thing to ponder..
Are you spending time with God? Would you like this to happen at the end of the life, whereby God telling you that "Your name I cannot find"?

He paid the price for us...

Story Time...
There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak...
"I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, son?"
"Just some old birds," came the reply.
"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.
"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered.
"I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time."
"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?"
"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."
The pastor was silent for a moment.
"How much do you want for those birds, son?"
"Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again.

The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"
The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.
The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free. Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting.
"Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
Satan replied,
"Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"
"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly.
"How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"

"How much?" He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!"
Then He paid the price.

The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.
Notes:
Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?
Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, they will be blessed by God in a way special for them.

Complain...

A net friend shared this knowledge with me and I think it is important for me to share it with all of the reader of my blog as this is something that we always faced in our daily life, COMPLAINS.....
Every time you want to grumble, Think of others who have less; Ask the Lord to keep you humble, Grateful for each happiness.
—Marye
Whenever we are tempted to grumble, let’s remember Numbers 11:1,
“When the people complained, it displeased the Lord.”
We too sometimes tend to focus on the negatives rather than the positives of life. We murmur against the Lord when we should be praising Him for His countless blessings. We let ourselves be distracted by the disappointments and deprivations that God allows for our spiritual good.
The people of Israel had the same kind of complaining attitude. God had miraculously taken care of them during their wilderness wanderings, yet they constantly complained. For example, they griped about the manna that God had so graciously provided. Remembering the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic of Egypt, they whined, “There is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!” (Numbers 11:6). What ingratitude!
There’s a story about a farmer who was known for his negative attitude. One day a neighbor stopped by and commented on the farmer’s wonderful crop. “You must be extremely happy with this year’s harvest,” he said. The farmer grudgingly replied, “Well, yes, it looks like a pretty good one, but a bumper crop is awfully hard on the soil.”

Stand still and have faith

To some brothers and sisters out there,
I know some of you are facing a hard time... Some even lost faith in God as He is not answering his/her prayer, but let me remind you that no matter what happened, no matter how human treat you, no matter how human betray you, no matter how human leave you, God is still besides you!
He is not answering your prayer doesn't mean He is not listening or forgotten you, but he is testing your faith towards Him! Therefore, hold on strong towards Him. Man fall but God's words stand forever...
God still sits on the throne.

Each and everyone one of us are going through tough times right now,

but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can.

Keep the faith.

The prayer:

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power.

Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings.

In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Money isn't anything...

Got this from a dear friend... I am touched by her action when I saw what she wrote in her address book about my first name and last name... "Shan Shang" "My good friend"... Simple words yet it melted my heart.... Allow me to share what she shared with me in that very mail... =)

ABOUT MONEY
With money you can buy a house BUT NOT a home
With money you can buy a clock BUT NOT time
With money you can buy a bed BUT NOT sleep
With money you can buy a book BUT NOT knowledge
With money you can see a doctor BUT NOT good health
With money you can buy a position BUT NOT respect
With money you can buy a blood BUT NOT life
With money you can buy a sex BUT NOT love

How true these words are... Lately I realise something very important in my life.. How much I left out... How much blessing I have missed due to my stubbornness, due to my stupidity, due to my blindness... How this world have draw me away from God... Help me Lord to be more like You each day! Just as my dear friend said "when you have faith in God, there is nothing He CAN'T do!" As I hang on to You, show me the path that You have prepared for me...

Your grace is enough for me

How long does it take for me to learn my lesson?
How long does it take for me to wake up?
How long does it take for me to realise that I am on the wrong path?
It is not that knowing what is wrong or right that made me righteous
but carrying out what is right made me a righteous person
Am I doing it?
Am I carrying out what is right in God's eyes?
I have one desire....
A desire that seems so far yet so near to me..
All I want is to just seek His face,
All I want is to just know Him more,
All I want is to just do as He told,
All I want is to just be an obedient daughter of His...
All this seems so easy to achieve yet am I achieving it?
Plenty of trials,
Plenty of struggling,
Plenty of suprises,
Plenty of blessings,
But I thank God for my life
For allowing me to continue travelling in this world
Though I wanted a rest so much
Though I wanted to see Him this instant
Hoping that He will just call me to His side
But before that happen
All I want is to glorify His name in this world...
I know I didn't deserve all this
All I have in hand...
I know it well that I don't deserve it
Yet He blessed me,
Yet He still love me,
Yet He still stand besides me,
Yet He still put trust in me,
All because of His grace...
I am weak
But You always use the weak to win the strong
I am a fool
But You always use the fool to fool the wise.
Thank you, Daddy....
You grace is enough for me..

Song with no name

Song with no name
by Boa
離開唇瓣 在黃昏的天空
消失的旋律 無名之歌
曾經關於某個人 珍貴的回憶
把一點的勇氣 悄悄的帶給了我
A song for you
A song for me
隱約的 可以聽到
A song for her
A song for him
過去的一個場面
A song for boys
A song for girls
令誰人 翩翩回首
A song for friends
A song for lovers
在心中可以感受
渴望用溫柔的話語將它包裹
旋律它誕生了 然後又消失了
它是撫慰受傷愛情的良藥
它是失眠夜里的搖籃曲
A song for dream
A song for tears
徘徊在時代里
A song for winds
A song for rain

A song for stars
A song for flowers

The Law of the Seed

A friend of mine send me this through mail and I would like to share it with all.. Enjoy reading....

The Law of the Seed
Take a look at an apple tree. There might be five hundred apples on the tree and each apple has ten seeds. That's a lot of seeds! We might ask, "Why would you need so many seeds to grow just a fewmore apple trees?"

Nature has something to teach us here.
It's telling us: “Not all seeds grow. In life, most seeds never grow”.

So if you really want to make something happen, you had better try more than once.

This might mean:You'll attend twenty interviews to get one job. You'll interview forty people to find one good employee. You'll talk to fifty people to sell one house, one car, one vacuum cleaner, one insurance policy, or a business idea. And you might meet a hundred acquaintances just to find one special friend.

When we understand the "Law of the Seed", we don't get so disappointed. We stop feeling like victims. We learn how to deal with things that happen to us. Laws of nature are not things to take personally. We just need to understand them - and work with them.

IN A NUTSHELL
Successful people fail more often. But they plant more seeds.

When things are beyond your control, here's something that you must NOT DO so as to avoid misery in your life:
- You must not decide how you think the world SHOULD be.
- You must not make rules for how everyone SHOULD behave
- Then, when the world doesn't obey your rules, you get angry!
- That's what miserable people do!

On the other hand, let's say you expect that:
-Friends SHOULD return favours.
-People SHOULD appreciate you.
-Planes SHOULD arrive on time.
-Everyone SHOULD be honest.
- Your husband or best friend SHOULD remember your birthday.

These expectations may sound reasonable. But often, these things won't happen! So you end up frustrated and disappointed.

There's a better strategy:
Demand less, and instead, have preferences!
For things that are beyond your control, tell yourself:
"I would prefer this, but if that happens, it’s OK too!"

This is really a change in mindset. It is a shift in attitude, and it gives you more peace of mind... You prefer that people are polite... but when they are rude, it doesn't ruin your day. You prefer sunshine... but if it rains, it is ok too!

To become happier, we either need to:
a) Change the world, or
b) Change our thinking.
It is easier to change our Thinking!

IN A NUTSHELL
It is not the problem that is the issue, but rather it is your attitude attending to the problem that is the problem. It's not what happens to you that determines your happiness. It's how you think about what happens to you!

Existance of God

Have you ever think of the existance of God? Have you ever ask yourself whether is there really God in this world? You might not be able to see Him with your physical eyes but does that prove that He does not exist in this world?
Yes I won't deny that if you want me to prove to you that God exist in this world is a very difficult task but I can tell you that it will be harder for you to prove that God does not exist in this world!
God doesn't exist because you believe He does exist but He is there from the beginning whether or not you believe His existance or not. Have you ever wonder why are you denying the fact that God does exist in this world? There is only one answer to this question, SINS.
Imagine this scenario, if there is law in a country, eventually people will start obeying it eventhough unwillingly as they are scare that when they disobey the law, they will be punish. There is/are people that they are afraid of therefore they are obedient and will not sin. However, when there is no law, imagine what will happen to the country. For sure HAVOC will occur, people will sin like nobody business as there aren't any punishment nor justice but some of them might enjoy it in short term as they are the big bully.
Relating this scenario to God, if there is a God that is poweful and mighty, will people not be afraid? Some people tend to said that God doesn't exist but think again, is it because of fear of punishment of their sin they said that? In their mentality, if God is not around, I can do whatever I like eventhough it is sinful because there wouldn't be any punishment. Let me tell you something... YOU ARE WRONG! Whether you believe on His existance of not, God is always there watching you, recording what you have done in this life. During judgement day, like it or not, you will need to justify each and every action you did.
Repent now, this very moment... As it is written in the bible that is you confess with your mouth that "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the died, you will be saved (Romans 10:9) and If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)
Let me show you some of God's amazing work in this world.. Something that you can't explain how come it is there with science theory.. Only God can do all this amazing work in this world...

Hang on there...

I will be posting a lot on bible stuff... Currently I am trying my level best to fix my modem that connect my with Daddy God. Trying to meditate His word as much as possible.. I really can't afford to loose Him... Take everything in me, I don't mind... My money, study, internet, car, health etc anything BUT not my bible.. I can't afford to loose that.. I have 5 bibles with me and those are my gold..
Until recently only I realise how come bible always used "clay" to describe Christian... Though clay is simple and ordinary but last time do you know what is the usage of that? To keep treasure.. That is the purpose of the clay... Although clay are easily to be broken yet people still choose to used clay to store their treasure..
Drawing back to Christianity, we are like a clay... Why you might ask... Because although we are fragile outwardly but inwardly we are store with treasure, which is the word of God. Yes, no doubt that we are weak but yet He still choose to used us to glorify His mighty name... That's God grace...
Yes, we will definitely go through trails and test in order to test our faith and to mould us. Are you still holding strong to His words? Look back and think back... Did you realise that actually all the suffering you went through actually make you grow? Made you a stronger and more mature person? Besides that, did you realise that all those trials you went through actually reveal your weakness to you? So when you are facing struggling, face it with courage and faith in God! Even though we will not know what lies in the future but always remember that The Lord is with us... Never shall He forsake us nor leave us.. So have faith!
Always remember that we are a tourist in this world.. We will go back to our home one day.. Our citizenship is in heaven not on earth.. Our reward is in heaven not in earth so hang on there and have faith...

For which cause we do not give way to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day. For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory; While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(2 corinthians 4:16-18)

Renewed..

Was still in a spiritual down mode before I attend cell group... Somehow I am in stress... I felt that I am not even worthy to be called a Christian...
"Am I a Christian?" I asked myself over and over again throughout the whole week... I don't know what gone into me.. I am too tired to wake up for devotion and sick is the reason I gave myself. Am I pulling myself away from God? What on earth hit my head? My "wires" are somehow mess up... Not knowing what is right and what is wrong. Have I forgotten the joy of salvation? Where is all my joy?
Looking back at my life now I thank God for every single second in my life.... I shall be more discipline starting from tomorrow... I WANT TO HAVE A BREAKTHROUGH!
God is seriously challenging me till the maximum this few months and the only word that God said to me is "I am with you" Sweet doesn't it... but somehow I don't get his meaning... Doesn't understand His plan towards me... Then a song came to me.. "And even though sometime Your way I may not understand, I will never walk away because my future is in your hand."
Today... God spoke to me through CG, again He told me that He is with me and besides that He told me that
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
(2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
My faith is shaken by some trials that He set before me... Hopefully starting from now I will stand firm on His word and not compromise. May He strengthen me everyday and equip me well so that I will not fall on temptation nor stray away from Him....
I want to take this opportunity to thank Michael and Kelvin for supporting, encouraing me and praying for me.. I appreciate a lot.. Your words, your encouragement, your prayer came in just in time....Specially Kelvin, I am so touched by your action man haha.. Thank you...
Special thanks to Ewilly as well... She taught me sometime valueable today, kept me thinking for quite some time... Still thinking though... Hehe.. Thanks sister...
Right after the CG, I felt refilled... I come back to the Lord asking for forgiveness, asking for guidance and asking for strength. I thank God for today CG... I just want to say... I love You, Lord... Help me Lord to know You more and to love You more!

Book of Ruth

I got this passage from a friend of mine.. Hope you enjoy it..
Read the book of Ruth.....
The name Naomi means “my delight.” But when bad things happened to her, Naomi wanted to change her name to match her circumstances. After her husband and sons died, Naomi concluded, “The hand of the Lord has gone out against me!” (Ruth 1:13). When people greeted her, she said, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me” (verse 20).
Rather than judge her circumstances in light of her identity as a follower of the one true God who had proclaimed unfailing love for His people, Naomi did what most of us tend to do: She judged God in light of her circumstances. And she judged wrongly.
The hand of the Lord had not gone out against her. In fact, Naomi had a God-given treasure she had not yet discovered. Although Naomi lost her husband and two sons, she was given something totally unexpected—a devoted daughter-in-law and a grandchild who would be in the lineage of the Messiah.
As Naomi’s life shows us, sometimes the worst thing that happens to us can open the door for the best that God has to give us.
Loving Father, help me not to judge Your love for meon the basis of whether today brings good newsor bad. Help me remember that You desire to usemy circumstances to make me more like Jesus. Amen.
God’s purpose for today’s events may not be seen till tomorrow.
The women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a close relative.” —Ruth 4:14
Ruth 4:13-22.
[For non-Christian, this is one of the book in the Bible, Old Testament]
So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and he went in to her, and the Lord made her with child and she gave birth to a son. And the women said to Naomi, A blessing on the Lord, who has not let you be this day without a near relation, and may his name be great in Israel. He will be a giver of new life to you, and your comforter when you are old, for your daughter-in-law, who, in her love for you, is better than seven sons, has given birth to him.

And Naomi took the child and put her arms round it, and she took care of it. And the women who were her neighbours gave it a name, saying, Naomi has a child; and they gave him the name of Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. Now these are the generations of Perez: Perez became the father of Hezron; And Hezron became the father of Ram, and Ram became the father of Amminadab; And Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon became the father of Salmon; And Salmon became the father of Boaz, and Boaz became the father of Obed; And Obed became the father of Jesse, and Jesse became the father of David.

Thirst for God..

King of Majesty
United Live King of Majesty
By Matt Meyer
You know that I love you
You know that I want to
Know you so much more
More than I have before
These words are from my heart
These words are not made up
I will live for you
I am devoted to you
King of Majesty, I have one desire
Just to be with you my lord
Just to be with you my lord
Jesus you are the savior of my soul
And forever and ever I'll give my praises to you
A very meaningful song indeed.... A song that really speaks to me.. A song that reminded me to check myself.. Am I living for Him? Is this my words to Him?
Naked I come from my mother womb and naked I will go, You give and You take away but praise to Your name... It is seriously a very hard prayer to say.. Even if you have said it in your prayer, it is with a willing heart you are doing it? I learn a lot throughout my life with Christ. Some said I am brain wash, some said I am too devoted until the point I am not like a normal person. However, I will say, you do not know what you are saying... When you have taste His love, trust me.... What you have said earlier about me, you will take it back immediately.
Still in a sick mode and still can't concentrate in what I have in hand.. For days I have missed my devotion and prayer. I have missed the quiet time with God... I am afraid... Afraid that I will backslide.. All I want is to just be with Him.... Yet it is so hard as there are so many things in between that block my way! Clear it off for me, can you Lord? Help me to stand firm on Your words.. Even if I have compromise, please bring me back on the right track, the track that you have planned for me... I am thirsty... thirsty for You, O Lord... Refill me once again. will You?

Work Smart and not work hard

Got this story from an E-mail.. Very meaningful indeed.. Funny yet its shows that how a smart a person is hahaha..
= Enjoy =
An old man lived in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was really hard work. His only son, who used to help him was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:-
Dear son,
I'm feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato in the garden this year. I am just getting too old to be digging up garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.
Love Dad
A few days later, he received a letter from his son
Dear Dad,
For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the BODIES.
Love Son
At 4 a.m. the next morning, F.B.I. agents and local police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love Son
The morale of the story is TO WORK SMART NOT HARD. Use your brain; in the perceived impossible sometimes it can make theimpossible possible.

Dustbin for my cute little room...

It is considered a holiday for APIITians on last Friday... At last... No need to go to college and study. Just want to relax myself on this very day...

I went to Ikea and 1U on that day... Hehe.. Guess what? I bought my dream DUSTBIN... Hahaha.. Yes, weird girl... I know.. hahaha... Good things must share... So below are the attached picture haha..

Look too plain isn't it? Hmm.. Well.... Look at this then.. Hehe..

My Birthday present from UK! A friend of mine purposely send this back to KL! Thanks man! Like it so much... Hehe.. This is a new dustbin and it is clean.. Receipt is still in the dustbin hehehe...

Ok, I think I post too much for today haha.. Enjoy ya..

* PINCH PINCH * hehe..

A post specially dedicated to Michael.... A person that proved to me that God is so real in life... When we encounter with God we will be transform... Give thanks to the Lord that I have the opportunity to meet him!

I was kind of suffering with the spiritually me this few days.. For 2 to 3 days I didn't do my devotion due to sickness and some personal issue... Spiritually down is all I can say...
It is on last Wednesday, a day that God once again fill up the spiritually me.. Having Cell Group at night and I was a basically a sick cat after prayer meeting.. Praying for a breakthrough where I can worship Him even though the physically me is super weak. Somehow the prayer meeting doesn't satisfy my "thirst for God". I quiet myself down and pray..... I felt something coming in yet something is blocking it.. A feeling that I don't know how to put it in words.. I submit everything into His mighty hand and end my prayer with a burden heart..
Once I open my eyes.... I... Stone... A BIBLE!!!!! Chinese English BIBLE!!!!! Michael bought it from his hometown! I opened it and flip through it.. There's a card inside there, I opened it and read.. IS A BIRTHDAY GIFT!!!!! Although it is very late but fuiyo... A BIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am basically spiritually filled up!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!! What a great Wednesday I have... Super happy, super blessed and super filled.... THANKS MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love You, Lord....

Praise be with Him

Suddenly I feel so so so.... SO MISS MY BLOG! It has been a while where I truely sit down in front of the computer and started writting my blog.. Hehe...
I can hardly use the computer now as my brother is rushing his assignment.. In addition, I am super sick... It has been 1 week plus and I am still sick! What is this? Sore throat, coughing, flu and slight fever during night... I thought my fever have left me but just yesterday "its" came back "knocking" on my door... SWEAT! And no I didn't take any medication for it... I just slip myself under a warm comforter and hug my bloster... Hehehe... My way of curing fever... Kids, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME... All the stunts performed in these acts are done by well trainned professionals who understands all the risk involved...
* Thanks Michael *
God showed me a lot through this sickness though... I am a person that don't take medication even though I am super sick unless my mom asked me too.. However, I consider myself to have a breakthrough this time as I myself asked my family for medication! Haha.. Seriously killing me... The medicine is super bitter and not only that I used my own sweet time to swallow that... It is so near my throat and I just can't swallow it... Ended up the medicine melted in my mouth most of the time and until the point I can't take the bitterness I swallow it down...
Suffering... Not only of my sickness but I can hardly sleep at night as coughing non-stop and sometimes messaging during the night.. Friends asking me how is my condition now, prayers and tones of warm regards.. THANKS! Appreciate all of your warm regards and caring =)
However, I know God is merciful... He blessed me with many other things in other area! Hmm.. I should give you all an example... On last Wednesday, due to running nose, I open the window instead of the air-conditional in my car. Guess what? Once wine down.. It won't go up... What a day... I am so late for work and what worried me the most is the rain and people "molesting" my car... I pray and pray and pray... Even message Michael to pray for me! Desperate for prayer! Thanks for prayer man.. Appreciate it a lot.. After prayer, I left my car with a burden heart and went for work, I have no choice...
Michael again reminded me that if I submit to God, I should not worry anymore as God will take care of it.. If I still feel burden in me, that means I didn't submit to Him whole-heartedly.. A very hard lesson to learn but I manage to learn it.. After class and it was 315pm, I pray super hard that it won't rain. However, I got a message from my friend telling me that it is raining and asked me to fix my window asap.. I... Stoning.. Rush out of the classroom and ran to my baby car.. While walking to my car, I saw the road all wet... Drizzling... I wanted to cry! How am I suppose to drive when the car is wet? That's all I had in mind.. Praying all the way...
Once I reach my car... From the outside, it is all wet as it is raining.. Once I open my car.. I have the shock of my life! The car is DRY!!!!! Not even a drip of water is in my car! I stand in front of my car for a moment and giving praise to the Lord.. The story doesn't end there though.. MY WINDOW... Remember? Ok APIIT car park is always pack and you will always get people blocking your car. My car was block and at that time Ewilly and I have the feeling that my car can come out from that mess without calling that person to come out from class and purposely reverse the car for me. So both of us co-operate together and trying my best to reverse my car. Until a point where I got so feedup and said "OK, leave it... Call the person"
At this moment, another friend of mine came and said he will help me to reverse and he did.. I have no idea what he did but not only he manage to reverse my car safely out of that parking lot but at the same time he manage to close the window!! HALLELUJAH! Praise the Lord! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Hmm... A long blog.. I think all of you all are tired of reading haha.. I have a lot more to share though.. Will write again in next blog...
=Signing off =

Carrot, egg or coffee?

HoHoHo.... It is sharing time again.. Another story in my blog... When things doesn't go your way in your life, what will you do?
Things/thoughts that make you go hmm....

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...
Maybe with this you will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on
your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee
bean?"

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying. You might want to send this message to those people who mean something to you (I JUST DID); to those who have touched your life in one way or another; to those who make you smile when you really need it; to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down; to those whose friendship you appreciate; to those who are so meaningful in your
life.

It's easier to build a child than repair an adult.
This is so true - may we all be COFFEE
This blog is specially dedicated to a best friend of mine... You know who you are ya... Hehehe... the story sound familiar? Now ask yourself something... Are you becoming an egg instead of coffee? Love is everywhere around you but is your heart harden and fail to feel the love due to what happened in your life? Just want you to know.. God loves you! So do I! *Hug Hug* Love you, sister~

Love will forever remain....

The mouth that we used to kiss our loves one,
become the weapon when we argue.
The hand we used to hug or touch or loves one,
become the weapon to hit when we fight.
The heart that we used to love each other,
become the heart of hatred when we argue.
Read this from a friend's blog... Nice words I can say... The meaning of the words seems to flow with each other... I won't deny what it is written though.. Partially I am agreeing on the statement. However... the last words... "The heart that we used to love each other, become the heart of hatred when we argue."
I don't really agree on this... Why? Hmm... I don't know about others but to me... Well because of love both are in a relationship right? Just because of one arguement your love is shaken? Love will remain won't it? Even if you do break up, won't you still love that person for some time? As time passes, so does your love towards that person, that's why you can let go of that person.... However, I still believe that your love towards that person still remain, is just that the type of love is changed... You might have "tune it" to "friendship" type of love...
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, it is not rude,
It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs,
Love does not delight in evil but rejoice with the truth.
It always protects, always trust,
Always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4 - 7
For some reason I love this verse a lot.. God have shows me how love can really change a person, touch a person and even forgive a person... I am still learning to love people around me... I would like to take this opportunity to apologies to those who I hurt before, present and future.... Do forgive me....
God bless all of you..

Hidup penuh cabaran...

Itulah aku...
Duniaku gelap-gelita, mataku buka tetapi apa yang ku nampak? Gelap... Seolah-olah mataku tidak berfungsi lagi. Pelita! Pelita! Pelita! Ku nakkan pelita untuk menerangkan duniaku... Apa pun rintangan, apa pun halangan, ku masih memegang kuat hasratku untuk mencari pelitaku... Putih kata ku, suci niat ku. Namun tidak ketemu apa yang ku nakkan..
Haruskah ku meneruskan langkahku? Teruskan perjalananku dalam duniaku ni? Mengizinkan diriku sendiri carigali duniaku yang gelap-gelita ni? Apa gunanya? Apa yang ku dapat? Ku bacul... Takut... Berdiri kat tengah jalan, tak pasti mana satu jalan kena ku pergi.. Patutkah ku putus asa dalam mencari? Ya? Tidak? Ku tidak ingin menjadi abdi duniaku tetapi ku gagal mencari pelita untuk menerangkan jalanku.. Susahnya hidupku...
Kau muncul... Muncul dalam hidupku.. Sinaran cahaya matahari memancar dalam duniaku.. Pertama kali ku menikmati rasa "cinta"... Terima kasih kerana memilihku... Terima kasih...

Life...

Give praise to the Lord that He has answered my prayer. A prayer that I doubt most of us will pray for... A prayer of Job... He really challenge me... I didn't regret what I pray for but I really hope I could overcome this. Until now, only one person know what happened to me, however that person only know the brief story of it. I know that person will keep me in prayer and just want to thank that person. Keep it P&C ok? I seriously put a lot of trust in you and I really hope you won't betray that.. If you do, I will bare that, as getting used to all those lies around me...
Tired.. I am almost worn out. Too tired... Physically tired... I slept early this few days yet I woke up feeling even more tired. I am in between the line of getting sick and being healthy.. Having a slight fever few days back yet it is not serious. Drank tones of water and my temperature went down. However, I still can sense the "fever" in me. I get cold very very easily this few days.
Lack of rest is all I can say for myself. Every morning [besides Saturday and Sunday], waking up at 630 a.m. and go to college either work or study. Came back around 545p.m. if I am not taking night duty on that day or not attending CG. However, the possibility of me coming back home at 5 something is slim, the only day I am super free is Friday... The day I just want to go out and relax and have fun yet I am at home facing the stupid box... SAD CASE MAN haha..
This is what I called a boring life... Hahaha... Pack life yet boring...

The Beauty of a Women...

The beauty of a woman
A little boy asked his mother,
"Why are you crying?"
"Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said.
His Mom just hugged him and said,
"And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father,
"Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"
"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man,
still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God.
When God got on the phone, he asked,
"God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said: "When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough
to carry the weight of the world,
yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure
childbirth and the rejection
that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going
when everyone else gives up,
and take care of her family through
sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children
under any and all circumstances,
even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband
through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife,
but sometimes tests her strengths
and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed.
This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God,
"the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
