God's words to me..
Story time =)

I Can Stand Secure
To walk the narrow way
Shepherd, hold my hand
So I'll never be astray
Jesus, draw me near,
So that I will never fear
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure
Here I am O Lord
Come and fill my cup
Healer of my soul
When I'm weak You lifted me up
Jesus, draw me near
Come and wipe away my tears
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure
Jesus hear my cry
I've only one desire
To be faithful to my calling
All the days of my life
Jeus, draw me near
In my heart I'll hold You dear
To know in all Your promises
I can stand secure
Sad..

The meaning of Faith
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true. For by it our fathers had God's approval.
By faith it is clear to us that the order of events was fixed by the word of God, so
that what is seen has not been made from things which only seem to be.

Have faith, my daughter...
"Sorry, we didn't provide any scholarship for APIIT course (SU Degree) but we do provide for UCTI course"
My heart sank.... I know by heart that I got a scholarship by God grace last time but it will end after I finish my diploma, which is this year! I continue to "bug" the person by asking whether I can just write a letter to them and asked for an exceptional and praise the Lord they said I can give it a shot. Though the opportunity is slim but I uphold it into God's hand... I seriously am stuck on what to do next... Have tones of unfinish assignments on hand and having test here and there... Wao.. Stress up...
I can't stop thinking what should I write in that letter. Ended up I have a blank paper in front of me. How am I suppose to impress them and convience them that I am worth that amount of money? I seriously don't dare to imagine what will happen next if I don't get an approve letter from them. All I can do is just pray...
Your name I cannot find...
I knelt to pray but not for long,
And jumped up off my knees.
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came,
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"
He paid the price for us...
"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.
"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered.
"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."
"Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again.
The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"
The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.
One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting.
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
Satan replied,
"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"
"How much?" He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!"
Then He paid the price.
The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.
Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?
Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, they will be blessed by God in a way special for them.
You said VS God says
God says: All things are possible (Luke 18:27)

Stand still and have faith

Each and everyone one of us are going through tough times right now,
but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can.
Keep the faith.

The prayer:
Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power.
Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings.
In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

With money you can buy a clock BUT NOT time
With money you can buy a bed BUT NOT sleep
With money you can buy a book BUT NOT knowledge
With money you can see a doctor BUT NOT good health
With money you can buy a position BUT NOT respect
With money you can buy a blood BUT NOT life
With money you can buy a sex BUT NOT love

The Law of the Seed
The Law of the Seed
Nature has something to teach us here.
It's telling us: “Not all seeds grow. In life, most seeds never grow”.
So if you really want to make something happen, you had better try more than once.
This might mean:You'll attend twenty interviews to get one job. You'll interview forty people to find one good employee. You'll talk to fifty people to sell one house, one car, one vacuum cleaner, one insurance policy, or a business idea. And you might meet a hundred acquaintances just to find one special friend.
When we understand the "Law of the Seed", we don't get so disappointed. We stop feeling like victims. We learn how to deal with things that happen to us. Laws of nature are not things to take personally. We just need to understand them - and work with them.
IN A NUTSHELL
When things are beyond your control, here's something that you must NOT DO so as to avoid misery in your life:
- You must not decide how you think the world SHOULD be.
- You must not make rules for how everyone SHOULD behave
- Then, when the world doesn't obey your rules, you get angry!
- That's what miserable people do!
On the other hand, let's say you expect that:
-Friends SHOULD return favours.
-Planes SHOULD arrive on time.
- Your husband or best friend SHOULD remember your birthday.
These expectations may sound reasonable. But often, these things won't happen! So you end up frustrated and disappointed.
There's a better strategy:
For things that are beyond your control, tell yourself:
This is really a change in mindset. It is a shift in attitude, and it gives you more peace of mind... You prefer that people are polite... but when they are rude, it doesn't ruin your day. You prefer sunshine... but if it rains, it is ok too!
To become happier, we either need to:

Hang on there...
For which cause we do not give way to weariness; but though our outer man is getting feebler, our inner man is made new day by day. For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory; While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Book of Ruth
And Naomi took the child and put her arms round it, and she took care of it. And the women who were her neighbours gave it a name, saying, Naomi has a child; and they gave him the name of Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. Now these are the generations of Perez: Perez became the father of Hezron; And Hezron became the father of Ram, and Ram became the father of Amminadab; And Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon became the father of Salmon; And Salmon became the father of Boaz, and Boaz became the father of Obed; And Obed became the father of Jesse, and Jesse became the father of David.

Carrot, egg or coffee?
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.
In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."
"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on
your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee
bean?"
Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying. You might want to send this message to those people who mean something to you (I JUST DID); to those who have touched your life in one way or another; to those who make you smile when you really need it; to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down; to those whose friendship you appreciate; to those who are so meaningful in your
life.
It's easier to build a child than repair an adult.
This is so true - may we all be COFFEE

Love will forever remain....
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, it is not rude,
It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs,
Love does not delight in evil but rejoice with the truth.
It always protects, always trust,
Always hopes, always perseveres.
